Tyrol Castle
Dorf Tirol in South Tyrol
The South Tyrolean Museum of history is located in the Castel Tyrol the ancestral seat of the Counts of Tyrol.The castle is an archeological museum in best conditions with a curtain wall, built in the 1100, which is a part of the oldest and best conserved ones. The pillared in marble, with symbolic sculptures, from the 12th Century, are considered an original monument of the Romanesque art.
