Haflinger Europa Championat

Although the European Haflinger Championship is still a very young event, it has already managed to establish itself as a key appointment on the agenda of any true Haflinger fan.

It all began with the very first edition held in Stadl Paura (Austria) in 2003, where the enthusiasm conveyed by the organising team and the initiator Roland Spitzer managed to catch hold of the spectators and participants. It was later agreed to hold the event at a different location every 3 years. After Stadl Paura and Munich Riem (Germany), Haflinger fans from all over Europe are now invited to come to Merano/Meran (South Tyrol).

Nationales Turnier

The 2009 European Haflinger Championship will be a national tournament with international participation and a great occasion to prove once more that the Haflinger is indeed a highly versatile horse. And, of course, it will be a weekend-long homage to the charming breed which has already become popular all over the world.
